Its a wonder as to what a new coat of paint can do to a room. It can freshen things up, make it look newer, or change the mood of the room. Yesterday we decided to paint the spare bedroom. A full paint; walls, ceiling and trim. Also added the addition of new curtains to the room and removed the blinds that were devowered by the dogs. 5 hrs after buying all supplies and doing the prep work, the room was finished. Albet we are not professional painters by no means, but we got the job done. I assume this week will consist of touch-ups and looking for pictures to hang on the walls.

Now those two things usually go hand in hand, and give a good impression of what our American democracy is built upon, but if you look at the two as seperate entities there is a large and glaring desparity between them.
Yesterday, John McCain went on air stating he would be suspending his campaign to focus on the economic crisis at hand. Meanwhile Barack Obama responded by saying a job of a President is to be able to handle multiple tasks at one time. MCcain’s bailout seems to come at an odd time. Why didnt he suspend his campaign a week or so ago during the AIG mess? Would it have to do with slipping pole numbers? Or maybe the fact he wants to take the attention off of his VP running mate for a while?
Whatever the reason is, McCain seems to be suffering from old age mentality where focusing on more than one crisis is just too much for his old brain to handle. Kinda scary right? I mean what is he going to do if something huge were to happen? Send in Palin? If that were the case watch out for soccer mom mentalities. In the most unlikely chance that McCain gets elected, maybe by year 3, Palin will finally know what the job of the VP is, McCain may also be dead by then.

why all in caps?
I have one of those, actually 2. But i’m not just talking about normal neighbors, i’m talking about “those” neighbors. You know, the ones that are all up in your business. Who can’t seem to get a life and feel that they need to be in yours. For some reason I seem to be needing someone like that. My “friendly” neighbor aka annoying greywolf, thought I could use some help with my yard. So to “help” me, she decided to send over someone who did work on her yard. Now I’m in now way an invalid and am fully capable in keeping up my own yard, I just dont feel that I need to be meticulas in everything I do with it.
The business card left in my front screen door was her way of saying, hey your yard looks like shit and I think you need to have someone do something to it. When in reality my yard is perfectly fine. I however am not made of money where I can just throw it around and have every little service done for me (unlike she seems to have).
I have the urge to put a business card on her front door and maybe a bag of flaming dog poo on her doorstep ala Billy Madison.
