I need to get another post out and I’m having a hard time just trying to get a title even picked. Kind of running into a writing block. So i’m sitting at home right now waiting for my apartments maintainence people to get here to see if they can fix a leak in my ceiling. I wonder how this could be happening when they just put a new roof on our apartment building this past fall. Although they did create a huge mess in doing so with nails and shingles in trees and on balconies. It was bad, also the fact that they were just really loud about it.
Get a new car in April, save up for a condo/nicer apartment in Royal Oak. Other than that just try to have fun.
Here’s alittle heads up on what to expect from me going forward. Every week I plan on posting 3 posts. One for each section. This is the first one, which really matters cause it explains it all. What I want to happen is that these three areas, Really Matters, Somewhat Matters and Does not Matter, is that it grows to a collection of ideas, stories and cool stuff that makes up what is currently happening in my day to day life.
In the future, I hope that I will be able to add more writers who wish to publish and contribute to this project. So lets get the ball rolling, games started and buttons pushin. Also send in your stories and comments and those will be added to the repository as well!
Yahoo has created a new mashup service which allows non programmer types to create services for others to use, mixing data sources to create really cool apps.
What Is Pipes?
Pipes is a hosted service that lets you remix feeds and create new data mashups in a visual programming environment. The name of the service pays tribute to Unix pipes, which let programmers do astonishingly clever things by making it easy to chain simple utilities together on the command line.
With the new year, its good to start things fresh. So is the same with changing the face of my blog which did need a change and will also help me to get more motivated in writing again. A couple new sections:
They will hold posts that fit into those sections. Other new features will be added as the year goes on, based on how much time I have available to update.
