O how Michigan Sucks!

If there were ever a place in this country where you could say that “Hey it’s alot better than…”, then the o’l state of Michigan would hold first place. Theres plenty of things, places, people that make Michigan one of those types of places to live/visit. First of all the only real thing that Michigan has to offer is the Kellogg plant in Kalamazoo. So if you looking forward to watching cereal being made, then thats you place.
Now you may be thinking that Detroit isnt as bad as everyone says it is, and with all the things that the current mayor/pimp/wanna-be gangsta has done to the city to make it look better that Detroit is a nice place to go to. That is if you stay in the 3 block area around Ford Field and Comerica Park. I am totally looking forward to the Super Bowl coming to Detroit and watch the people coming in, then running for they’re lives when they leave that little safe stretch of woodward. I mean come on, one block over your looking at abandoned houses, crack houses, prostitutes, and the not so occasional gang violence.
Even better to look forward to is that MTV will be coming to a city near us. Next year the Real World crews will be filming in Royal Oak and the show will be called Real World Detroit. Now Royal Oak, isnt bad at all. If you havent been to the city in awhile its not the art town it used to be, but is now a party/trendy town with all the beginnings of a town on the verge of riotting. Cause that will no doubtedly happen when local Royal Oakers try to kick the Real World cast out. It would be funny to actually see the show if it was really in Detroit. That way we can see real survival instincts and let the “realness” of people to come out.
So if your coming to Detroit in 2006, be prepared for the fake buildings and even faker shows. But hey, look on the bright side, Canada is only a bridge/tunnel away.
